
As the situation continues to unfold in Ukraine, people around the world are finding ways to stand in solidarity and support the Ukraine people. Here we have compiled some information about groups, organisations and campaigns which are standing in solidarity with, and providing support directly to the Ukraine LGBT+ community.
Consortium
Consortium – for stronger LGBT+ communities in the UK.
We spoke to Paul Roberts, CEO of Consortium – who is having conversations with organisations including Rainbow Migration and Stonewall. A couple of things are in development and he will share as soon as he has more information.
Rainbow Migration – supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) people through the asylum and immigration system.

ILGA Europe Support for LGBTI People in Ukraine
Currently eight organisations (07/03/2022) are listed providing support to LGBT+ people in Ukraine. There are also details for organisations in neighbouring countries including Poland and Germany.

LGBTI Human Rights Nash Mir Centre – The Centre urgently needs funds to continue working with LGBTI people who cannot leave Kyiv, you can donate here.
Insight LGBTQ – Helping with temporary housing, relocation to safer areas, food, medicine and first-needed supplies, donate at this link.
NGO Fulcrum – Supporting relocation, shelter, emergency aid to LGBTI persons, donate at this link.
Gender Z – Based in Zaporizhzhia, Gender Z are inviting donations to help them support community members who have not left and need emergency assistance, such as shelter, basic needs support etc. Donate at this link.
Alliance Global – Funding a shelter in Kyiv for MSM and trans* people who are unable to leave the city and are in difficulty. Have almost run out of funds. Bank details are on the Support for LGBTI People in Ukraine page (here).
ZBOKU – Based in Kyiv, ZBOKU is an art initiative that is creating sexual and gender dissent art in Ukraine and needs funds to continue paying for their space that became a bomb shelter and continue their work on making and protecting art. Donate at this link.

Teenergizer: Peer support spaces and services for young people living with HIV in Ukraine. Donate.
Sphere: Based in Kharkiv, Sphere works closely with the queer community and young people and is actively engaged in queer organising in the region and across Ukraine. Donate.
Egalite Intersex Ukraine: Raises awareness and visibility of Intersex people in Ukraine. Donate.

Korporaciya montsrov odessa: Provides medical, social and humanitarian help for children and elderly people in Odessa.
Fight For Right: Support for Ukrainians with disabilities in emergency.
Roma Women Fund Chirikli: Raises awareness and advocates for Roma women’s rights in Ukraine. They collaborate with Roma communities on a regional level.

Legalife-Ukraine: A member organisation of the Sex Workers’ Rights Advocacy Network (SWAN) is in need of support.
Support the needs for accessing trans-specific healthcare: we are at the moment clarifying how to send hormones to overcome shortages in hormone-replacement therapy.
