Hate Crime Reference Folder

Hate Crime Reference and Resource Folder

We believe that every library across London should have a Hate Crime Reference and Resource Folder – so that information is on hand to everyone who needs it.

Physical folder – located in the library’s reference section. Accessible to staff and library users.

We will signpost how to access hate crime advice and support services online and off-line.

Information about hate crime. Covering the basics people need to know about hate crime and how to report it.

We will need to regularly review and update the information contained in these folders.

Plastic Folders Wallets – there will be space for leaflets and posters from a range of advice and support services.

Items that can be photocopied and used to promote hate crime awareness.

Hate crime poster(s) – advertising the Hate Crime Reference and Resource Folder.

We want to encourage people to talk to library staff.

Bookmarks – advertising the Hate Crime Reference and Resource Folder.

We want to encourage people to seek further information.

Volunteer Scheme – we want to recruit a team of volunteers so ideally every library across London has a volunteer to help us maintain a great relationship with each library.

They will help us maintain the folders too.

We need to raise funds and recruit volunteers – interested in supporting this project? Do get in touch!
